Anything an SDK or server-side beacon sends to /collect — page_view, identify, custom track() calls, e-commerce events. Internal probe traffic (your /status checks) and rejected-by-tracking-plan events do not count toward your bill.
On Free, the tail drops — events past 100k that month return 200 OK but are not stored. On Pro and Scale, overage is metered through Stripe at the published rate ($0.30/100k on Pro, $0.20/100k on Scale) and added to your next invoice. No surprise bills — we cap overage exposure if you set a monthly budget in Settings.
Free keeps raw events for 14 days; aggregates persist forever. Pro and Scale default to 36 months and you can extend at the standard storage rate. Self-host customers control retention themselves — no cap.
Yes. Every cloud workspace can export its tracking plan, destinations, audiences, and consent config to a self-host bundle (`scripts/install.sh import`). Historical events copy over via the same tooling.
